5 Easy Steps to Getting Tested for Snoring and Sleep Apnea

Step 1

Call ResSleep on 1300 WAKE UP (1300 925 387). We will book you in for an appointment with a diagnostic consultant at your nearest ResSleep clinic. We will also send you a referral form* for your doctor to complete.

Step 2

Visit your doctor and request that this referral form be completed, clearly indicating any symptoms or medical conditions.

Step 3

Go to your ResSleep clinic for scheduled appointment. Present the original copy of your referral form to your diagnostic consultant.

Step 4

Take sleep testing device home with you (the size of a mobile phone). Set it up as shown by your diagnostic consultant before you go to sleep.

Step 5

Return the device back to your ResSleep clinic the following morning. Data will be downloaded from your device and your results will be prepared by your local sleep physician and sent to your doctor within 2 weeks. If the reporting sleep physician has recommended a treatment trial, a ResSleep clinic staff member may contact you directly to book an appointment.

*Please note: The referral form was specifically designed by sleep physicians so that patients can be qualified to undertake an in-home sleep test per Medicare requirements.
