GENERAL
  • What are the components of the course?

This is a category 1 CPD course that has been approved by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). This is a mixed media course that contains both online and face to face components. Please ensure that you complete all of the following sections in order to successfully complete the course.

5 Online Reinforcing Activity 30 minutes

  • How do I register for the interactive workshop session?

Sessions run in most clinics three times per annum. Please visit www.ressleep.com.au/gp-education-program-info/ for dates and registration details.

  • Is this course approved by the ACRRM?

No, unfortunately not at this stage.

REGISTRATION
  • Where do I go to register?

http://ressleep.ecreators.com.au/login/signup.php. Fill in the necessary details to register for the course and ensure that the correct email address is registered as you will receive a registration email that contains details about the course. If you do not receive a registration email, please check your junk email folder.

  • I registered but did not receive my confirmation email. What do I do?

The registration email may be in your junk email folder, however if it is not, please contact ResSleep on 1300 925 387 or at cpdeducation@ressleep.com.au with your name and best form of contact and assistance will be provided shortly thereafter.

ONLINE MODULE
  • I believe that I have finished the course but cannot see my mark.

Successful completion of the course is achieved when the following sections are completed:

1. Predisposing activity

2. Active Learning Module

3. Final assessment

4. Practical face to face educational session

5. Reinforcing activity

  • I cannot find the course after I have logged into the website.

If you have logged into the website using your username and password, the home page will have a series of six square icons. Please click on the top left square icon titled ‘Click here to access Recognising and Managing Sleep Apnea in Primary Care’ (circled below).

POINT ALLOCATION AND CERTIFICATE
  • When do I get my points?

Points are uploaded on a weekly basis for GPs who have successfully completed all components of the course. ResSleep allocate all CPD points, which should appear on the GP’s CPD statement within two business days from time of upload.

Successful completion of the course is achieved when the following sections are completed:

1. Predisposing activity

2. Active Learning Module

3. Final assessment

4. Practical face to face educational session

5. Reinforcing activity

  • Do I get a certificate?

Yes, your certificate will either be mailed or delivered to you within a few weeks of completing the course.

  • Can I get a certificate for attending the interactive workshop session only?

We do not issue certificates for attending the interaction workshop session if you have not also completed all components of the CPD course.

  • Do I receive any CPD points for attending the interactive workshop session alone?

No points are offered for attending the interactive workshop session alone. However you are welcome to record the interactive workshop as self-directed learning. QI&CPD participants can record self-directed learning capped at 20 points for the triennium.
